I've just seen a big football thread on a forum I go on, and it's basically people arguing about the game.

On one side, you have the people who can't see why someone would be so passionate about a game, and on the other side, the people that are.

And to me, its the logical people that win. it is just a game. I can not see why some people live and die football.

Don't get me wrong, I like football, I play it, and watch it, but im not passionate about a team, and I think the violence that occurs at matches is just stupid (obviously a minority of fans).

It all just sounds like blind faith to me, almost on par to religion.

can they not take one step back, and just see what they are doing, what the are doing? see how far they are taking what is literally a game with a business built around it?
